Pavers (Hardscape):

Pavers are an ideal solution for transforming your walkways, driveways, patios, pool decks and other outdoor surfaces.  Pavers can also be utilized to create outdoor features from retaining walls and seating areas to fire pits and outdoor kitchens.  They provide the opportunity to express a homeowner’s style, allowing for design creativity with a variety of blends and colors and styles ranging from two stone cobble to striking patterns.
Pavers provide a beautiful, custom paving solution increases property value.  Pavers are slip and skid resistant, making them the ideal choice for a swimming pool deck or any other wet, high traffic area.  Unlike concrete surfaces, pavers are ready for use as soon as the project is complete.
Pavers are more durable than poured concrete.  The installation process of pavers allows the bricks to adapt to movement and changes in the soil and environment, which prevents the formation of cracks. Pavers are easy to maintain and can be cleaned with a scrub brush, soap and water; pavers will maintain their color and last much longer than poured concrete.  Think about the streets of Boston, Massachusetts – the cobblestone (paver) bricks of these streets are more than 200 years old.

Robert Thorson is one of less than 50 LICENSED Irrigation Contractors in Okaloosa County.

Homeowners should understand what this means.  If well water is not available or putting in a well is not an option for the property owner, the irrigation is tied into the water supply (plumbing) for the house.  As a licensed irrigation contractor, Thorson Landscaping must ensure the irrigation water is routed correctly so as to not contaminate the house water.  This license also shows that Robert has proven his knowledge of valves, piping, flow rates, spray patterns, zones and timers.

Robert has designed and installed irrigation systems for million dollar homes requiring more than ten separate zones, as well as smaller systems of two to three zones.  Pricing for new irrigation systems is based on the zones required.

Irrigation systems should be thoroughly checked and cleaned annually to ensure proper functioning.  Thorson Landscaping provides this service.  Robert can also correct and maintain your current system.
